"Francesca"Francesca Utaveggio teaches geometry at Hatchburg Senior High School. She has a tough bird reputation but her students know she has a tender heart. She washes in the river, and sleeps outside year-round in a corn husk nest in the back of the Roasted Corn. She spends her free time knitting sweaters for friends. She is working on Sally Melville’s Einstein Coat found in Book 1: The Knit Stitch. Her latest favorite novel is Dora Bruder by Patrick Modiano. She follows the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and lays an egg right in her seat when Dudley Williams dances Rocka My soul in the Bosom of Abraham. She’s met a few roosters on Hatchmatch.com, but she’s not ready to wake up in someone’s wings. 20" X 19" X 12" To order, click here. |
