"Rusty Loosefeather"

Rusty flies Old Glory from the right side of his red Ford Explorer. Paunchy, rubicund and Republican, Rusty is Hatchburg’s infamous fire chief. In memory of Hatchburg’s fallen, he sports one burnt tail feather. Rusty blames the stress of the Left for Rush Limbaugh’s latest affair with prescription drugs. Rusty reads the Daily News and The Wall Street Journal (editorials only). He would like to give Paul Krugman a one-way ticket to France. He plans to quit smoking sometime soon. First, he plans to cut back on his Rolling Rock and Slim Jims.
