"Debbie"Debbie is the head nurse at Dominique’s Plastic Surgery. She hasn’t aged a day in years. Some clients wonder if when she speaks of breast augmentation, neck lifts and feather rejuvenation, she speaks from knowledge, or from personal experience. Deb is a regular at the Roasted Corn Diner. Her favorite meal is mac and cheese with a side of corn and a double slice of del Fabro’s carrot cake. Deb’s motto is late to rise and early to bed. She lives near the pond and her oven is the cleanest in Hatchburg. She uses it to store bread and cookies. She says, “Why cook at home when you can eat at the Roasted Corn?” Sunday is Debbie’s favorite day. That’s when she picks up her order of crumb buns from the Eagle. She settles in her nest with butter, the buns, and a good book. Sometimes she takes a nap after breakfast.
