Narcisse owns the Casual Coup, an upscale feather shop for the discriminating hen. She features feather fashions by Eggcite, Eggpress and her own coup label: Henceforth. Nothing comes cheap at the Coup but no one gives a peck about the prices, because hens that shop at the Coup are chic chicks.

Naricisse is a private hen who is known for her artistic flair. She is fond of short stories and she reads Stephen Crane’s "The Open Boat" every night before she retires. She delights in the colors of the sea and imagines herself in moonlight in the wings of a Black Wyandotte Bantam Cock.

After hours, Raymond trims her feathers.
