"Rosie Divan"

Rosie owns the Roasted Corn. Her corn chowder soothes the hungry heart and chicks and roosters alike line up on Wednesdays when she serves del Fabro’s Carrot Cake. She’s a Raymond Carver fan. On nights when she can’t sleep she reads his poem “The Party,” and then she sleeps soundly with the taste of melted butter and salt in her mouth.
