"Thelma"Thelma is the jelly doughnut specialist for the Eagle Bakery in Hopewell. She makes her doughnuts from scratch and fills them with homemade raspberry jam. She’s known for working overtime and each of her doughnuts is a work of art. Thelma shares her nest with her partner Louise who makes the sticky buns at the Eagle. Thelma reads to relax and her favorite book is Springer's Progress by
David Markson. When she’s not reading she’s eating jelly doughnuts with a sticky
