Typical features of consulting projects
Every assignment we undertake is structured differently - we have no single methodology that imposes a particular way of problem-solving on a company that faces its own urgent needs and decisions. Instead, our approach is to listen and quickly recommend the most productive way that we can move a process along. In one case, it can be several days' work focused on customer listening and diagnosis; in another case, one person can serve for a longer period as a member or leader of a product or marketing effort.
Our work has included all of the following:
Product strategy and planning
Business and launch plans for new products
Finding opportunities for repackaging and brand extensions
Reviewing possibilities for successful alliances and cross-selling
Establishing overall marketing messages and priorities for customers and partners
Customer research and insight
Product concept testing and refinement
Identifying and understanding new customer segments
Refocusing product efforts based on customer needs
Improving customer communications, retention, and relationship management
Assessing Web usability and internet-based revenue opportunities
